Growing up in the Maritimes, Adam White always took music to heart. He excelled at piano and guitar as a youngster, but it wasn't until after
his undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph that he decided to seriously persue a career in music. After many years of toying with 4-track tape machines, he took a liking
to the studio environment and enrolled in the producing and engineering program at The Harris Institute for the Arts. Later, working in studios around the city, Adam crossed
paths with Jamie and the New Deal in 2003. The chemistry was immediate, and he became integral to the production of the albums Gone Gone Gone and Please Be Seated.
Jamie and Adam established Studiocat in 2004, and have since built a library of over 800 original pieces. When not banging away on his drum kit, Adam enjoys photography,
cycling, and collecting cool gear!
