Jamie Shields

Best known as the keyboardist of the groundbreaking instrumental electronica group The New Deal, Jamie Shields has performed over 1,100 shows alongside legends like Herbie Hancock and The Roots. A classically trained pianist who earned a history degree from McGill University while touring cross-country, Shields co-founded The New Deal in 1998. Spin magazine dubbed them "the Kraftwerk of the new Millennium." His signature sound, coaxing stunning ranges from his Moog Prodigy synthesizer, became a defining element of the band. As a StudioCat composer, he brings his multi-instrumental prowess to guitar, bass, and even the Hohner Melodica.
David Wall

For nearly three decades, David Wall has been a prominent figure in the Canadian music scene, fronting influential bands and collaborating with The Barenaked Ladies, designer Bruce Mau, and filmmakers John Greyson, Catherine Annau, and Avi Lewis. Growing up in a musical household—both grandmothers were professional pianists—Wall was immersed in classical music from an early age. At 12, he collaborated with Canadian roots legend Ken Whiteley. His work spans from serious documentaries to playful children's programming, bringing atmospheric depth and emotional resonance to every project. Wall's compositions have been featured in AGO's "I AM HERE" exhibition, showcasing his lo-fi soundscapes.
Adam White

Adam White is a Toronto-based screen composer, multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer. Recent credits include music for Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks, scores for CBC’s The Nature of Things, and video campaigns for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also operates Bloor Street Sound as a production sound mixer, collaborating with directors and producers across documentary, commercial and branded productions.
